Antique Kämmer & Reinhardt / Simon & Halbig mold 126-character toddler doll, measuring 18 inches tall. The doll is presented upright, with a finely crafted porcelain bisque socket head detailed with paired short brown hair, painted eyebrows, and large side-glancing to front moving glass sleep eyes. The cheeks are delicately blushed, and the open mouth reveals two upper teeth. The head is attached to a five-piece composition and papier-mâché toddler body, jointed at the shoulders and hips. Significant structural damage that has been restored is evident, including deep cracks, old glue repairs, and missing fragments around the neck socket and upper torso. The back has been restored and the doll restrung, as shown by visible open area for repairs and reinforcement. **Shipping Notice: Due to the delicate nature of the doll's sleep eye mechanism, any shipped doll will arrive with the wig and skull cap removed, and the eyes secured to help minimize the risk of damage during transit.
