An Italian earthenware soup tureen with a coordinating domed lid and ladle, decorated in high-relief trompe-l'œil vegetable motifs. The exterior features hand-painted representations of cauliflower, cabbage, radicchio, and onions, while the lid is topped with a sculpted garlic bulb finial. The matching ladle has a handle modeled after a scallion stalk. The base is marked with the incised model number 1411 and stamped with the country of origin.Length: 16 inches Height: 11 inches The set remains in excellent overall condition with minor glaze crazing on the interior of the lid and small glaze pops characteristic of Italian earthenware. No significant chips, cracks, or restorations are observed. Four felt pads are applied to the underside of the base.
