This large-scale oil on canvas features a scenic mountain landscape with a winding river and dense woodland. Executed with wet-on-wet techniques and heavy impasto highlights on the central peak, the work is signed Morley in the lower-left corner. The unframed painting is stretched over a wooden frame and depicts a serene wilderness scene.24 x 36 inches.The canvas shows rubbing and minor paint loss along the edges consistent with previous framing. Light surface grime and a few small scuffs are present, with minor foxing visible on the verso.
