A handmade Jemez Pueblo earthenware jar signed by E. Tafoya featuring polychrome geometric motifs. The vessel is decorated with black and red slip over a white ground, displaying stylized feathers and stepped patterns. The underside bears the hand-painted artist signature and hallmark.Height: 6.25 inchesRim Diameter: 8.25 inches.Very good condition with light surface wear and minor scuffing to the burnished slip areas. No chips, cracks, or repairs noted.
