This contemporary expressionist work is executed in oil on a stretched canvas support. The composition features a portrait with closed eyes rendered in warm tones against a dark background with vibrant yellow impasto accents. The painting is unsigned and remains on its original wooden stretcher with painted edges.18 in. (H) x 24 in. (W).The painting is in generally good condition with surface dust and lint fragments adhered to the paint. Minor white specks are visible on the surface, and small amounts of residue are present on the corners of the stretcher.
