This autumnal landscape is rendered in a heavy impasto oil on stretched canvas, featuring a central gnarled tree with ochre foliage set against a post-and-rail fence. The work is presented in its original rustic, light-toned wooden frame.measures 11 x 14 inches.Extensive craquelure is visible throughout the thick impasto paint layers, particularly in the tree and foliage.
