Estimate: 60 / 600 A 19th century manuscript Qur’an in Arabic. 9" x 6.5". With very worn cloth boards accompanying, with leather strap, housed by a leather bag, and with a ca. late 19th century printed Qur'an. Contents entirely loose, lacking at least the opening surah. Written in a clear and legible hand on laid paper, the text arranged in neat lines with red and colored rubrication and occasional decorative roundels marking verse divisions. The manuscript appears to date to the nineteenth century and is preserved in later cloth-covered boards, the opening surah lacking but the greater part of the text present, including the concluding chapters. Condition: Sold as-is, refer to photos. Both Korans appear to be lacking leaves.
