Nice porcelain coffee cup in the Broseley shape with 25 vertical flutes. Decorated in the Barbeaux pattern with hand painted blue and red cornflowers. Gold gilding along the rim. With a Barbeaux cornflower border. Unmarked. Made by Caughley. Circa 1795. Has wear to the gilding, and a crack to the bottom of the handle, but otherwise good condition with no additional chips or cracks. The cup measures approximately 3 3/4 inches wide including the handle x 2 3/4 inches tall. The saucer measures approximately 5 1/2 inches wide.
