Pair of vintage French faience pottery butter pats. One is decorated with a hand painted Breton man and one is decorated with a hand painted Breton woman. With yellow ocher and green paints, blue dots and trim. Marked on the reverse Mont St. Michel HernRiot Quimper. This mark was used after 1922. These have a small glaze flakes to the edge, but otherwise good condition. Each pat measures approximately 4 inches wide.
