4 Year old Mare, 14HH Gemma is a 4yr old lightly dappled bay mare from Antelope NV HMA, 14hands. She is a very smart, willing, and kind horse. I got the tag off of her the second day of having her, by the third day I had a halter on her and was learning to lead. She can lead, load in a trailer/haul out, stand tied(and cross tied), she is started under saddle, has had a western saddle and english saddle on, I've had about 5 rides on her, goes over obstacles, hobbles, ponies, lunges, multiple ways of round penning, picks up all 4 feet, likes bags, is good around ropes (rope around her, rope her to catch her, rope on top of her), and trims. She is also a very loyal horse and strong willed. An example of her loyalty/a setback, I left for 2 weeks for a vacation, when I got back she was very mad at me because I left, she felt abandoned by me although other people had been working with her. It took me a couple days before she would let me come near her to put a halter on, after that it took about a week and a half to get back to where we were before and her trust me again, but when she did trust me again it was even more than before. I believe she needs someone who can be a good role model to her and work with her regularly to keep her going forward. I and others (trainers as well) believe she has a lot of potential to become an absolutely fantastic horse. If you are looking for a shorter horse, who is very agile, has good feet placement, problem solving skills, willingness, drive, potential cow horse (she's shown cowy attributes), and loyalty. This is the horse for you.
