4 Year old Mare - 14.1 HH Meet Peaches (aka Princess Peach): A 4-year-old Buckskin mare from Antelope, NV. She features smooth gaits and excellent ground manners but requires an experienced hand to finish her training. She is about 14.1 hands tall. Ground Work: Lunges and round-pens well. Fully desensitized to tarps, noises, and flapping objects. Stands tied (though she may paw occasionally if bored). Picks up all four feet easily, backs up, pivots in both directions, and ground drives. Side-passes in both directions and will side-pass towards you on cue (e.g., walking to the mounting block). Has been ponied behind different horses. Under Saddle: Peaches has a smooth walk, trot, and lope. However, she is still mentally immature for a 4-year-old and is best suited for an experienced owner. I originally intended to compete with her under saddle, but she has a tendency to get distracted easily and struggles to refocus. While she has immense potential, we were unable to make the necessary progress in time for the Branded Bonanza Riding Division. Bonus: I am willing to take Peaches on as a clinic horse for her new owner if they are interested in additional training support. Overall, she is a sweet mare with a lot of personality and will make a great horse one day with the right consistency
