Offered is Department 56 The Dickens' Village Series "Shakespeare's Birthplace" Set of 4 Product No. 56.58515. The set includes a lighted porcelain house depicting the half-timbered residence on Henley Street in Stratford-upon-Avon with gray slate roof and snow accents, beige stucco with brown timbering, stone chimneys with birds perched on roof and chimney tops, bay window, wood doors with gold hardware, small lean-to additions with barrels and greenery, stone foundation, and woodpile with axe detail at rear. Also includes 3 accessories forming "All The World's A Stage" – a small wooden stage with teal curtain and gold scrollwork top reading "COMEDY TRAGEDY", a woman in red dress figure, and a kneeling man in blue and green. Box notes Fresh Fallen Snow, Bag-O-Frosted Topiaries and Village Cobblestone Road not included. House measures approximately 6-1/2" tall x 8" wide x 5" deep per rulers shown, stage approximately 3-1/2" wide. Comes in original box with Styrofoam insert. The porcelain shows light surface dust and minor paint scuffs consistent with handling and storage; no large chips or cracks noted in photos. Accessories show similar light wear. The original box shows edge wear, surface scuffs, corner wear and tape residue at closure consistent with age and storage. Light cord present in packaging; lighting not tested. Sold as-is.
