Offered is Department 56 The Heritage Village Collection Dickens' Village Series "The Old Curiosity Shop" #5905-6 Handpainted Porcelain. The building depicts a joined two-part shop with gray and brown shingle roofs with snow accents, white stucco with brown timbering, red brick chimneys, signage "The Old Curiosity Shop" on the front with green garland and red bows, large storefront windows, red doors, side signage "ANTIQUES - H. POOLE" and "1507", adjoining Tudor section with "Rare Books" sign, bay window, brown door with wreath, and rear details including ivy, wheel, crates and drain pipes. Marked on bottom "DICKENS' VILLAGE SERIES OLD CURIOSITY SHOP © Department 56 1987" with Department 56 Made in Philippines sticker and taped-over labels with adhesive residue as shown. Measures approximately 6" tall x 8" wide x 5" deep per rulers shown. Comes in original box with Styrofoam insert. The porcelain shows light surface dust and minor paint scuffs consistent with handling and storage; no large chips or cracks noted in photos. Base shows light soiling and adhesive residue from tape at light holes. The original box shows edge wear, light scuffs and creasing consistent with age and storage. Light cord or other accessories not pictured and not included unless shown. Lighting not tested. Sold as-is. Please refer to all photos for complete details and condition.
