Dept 56 Dickens Village "Abington Residence"

Offered is Department 56 The Heritage Village Collection Dickens' Village Series "Abington Lock Keeper's Residence" Product No. 56.58474 lighted porcelain. The building depicts a two-section cottage with orange tile roofs and snow accents, cream stucco with brown half-timbering, red brick chimney with gray cap, green diamond-pane windows, red entry door, signage "ABINGTON LOCK KEEPER'S RESIDENCE" on stone wall with picket top, ivy and greenery, brown bench, barrels, life preserver and mushroom details, anchor emblem on gable, and decorative metal ridge finials. Box notes contents as 1-porcelain house with light cord, Fresh Fallen Snow and Frosted Topiary trees not included. Marked on bottom "DICKENS' VILLAGE SERIES 'ABINGTON LOCK KEEPER'S RESIDENCE' DEPARTMENT 56, INC." Measures approximately 5-1/2" tall x 6" wide x 5" deep per rulers shown. Comes in original box with Styrofoam insert. The porcelain shows light surface dust and minor paint scuffs consistent with handling and storage, and shows condition issues: one or more roof ridge finials are detached and present loose as pictured, a small gold-tone bell is detached and present loose, and there is a small chip / loss with white residue at the roof ridge where a finial attaches as shown in close-up. No large cracks noted aside from noted chip area. Lighting not tested. The original box shows edge wear, a tear to the lower edge, scuffs and light soiling consistent with age and storage.
