A selection of two mid-20th-century industrial garage or workshop containers. The first item is a primitive insulated liquid storage cooler, featuring an exterior body constructed from vertical wooden staves secured by metal hoops. The interior contains a metal lining, and the container is fitted with a heavily oxidized domed metal lid with a small central spout. A wire swing handle with a turned wooden grip is attached to the upper lid section. The second item is a cylindrical bulk fluid dispenser finished in deep red paint, commonly utilized for oil or paraffin storage. It features a removable domed lid with a fixed metal strap handle, a wire bale handle with a painted wooden grip, and a discharge tap or spigot located at the base of the cylinder. Dimensions (measured against a tape measure showing inches only): Water cooler: Height approx. 16 inches Fluid dispenser: Height approx. 20 inches. Condition: Both items exhibit wear consistent with age and industrial workshop use. The wooden-clad water cooler shows significant oxidation and surface rust to the metal lid, handle, and binding hoops, with the wooden staves displaying drying, separation, and weathering. The red fluid dispenser shows widespread scratching, scuffing, and minor paint loss across the painted surface, with areas of surface rust visible along the lid rims, base seams, and spigot. The interior of the dispenser shows typical darkening and minor age-related residue.
