A pair of rustic, folk-art style decorative birdhouses constructed from weathered wood. The first piece is designed as a cottage with a faded blue facade and a natural wood-slat roof featuring an integrated chimney. The front is decorated with raised red lettering reading WELCOME, flanked by window cutouts with white shutters and hand-painted daisy motifs at the base. It includes a circular entrance with a white-painted rim, a wooden perch, and a rusted metal hanging chain attached to the roof. The second piece is a barn-style structure with a gambrel roof, built from dark weathered wood slats. It features a white-painted sign reading FARM HOUSE and a smaller side sign reading FRESH EGGS next to a miniature bucket containing imitation eggs. The structure is finished with a black metal rooster weather vane at the ridge. Height of cottage approx. 29 cm Height of barn approx. 27 cm. Condition: Both items show significant signs of weathering and wear consistent with outdoor display. The cottage birdhouse has worn paint and surface scuffs throughout. The barn birdhouse shows advanced deterioration, including peeling and detached wood slats and general structural instability, currently held together by a white cord wrapped around the roof. Metal components show oxidation and rust.
