A large vintage globular demijohn or carboy, likely for wine storage. The vessel is constructed from translucent, deep forest green glass and is mold-blown, exhibiting visible vertical side seams and a thick, applied-style finished rim. The piece features a substantial bulbous body that tapers into a narrow neck. Faint embossed characters are present on the shoulder, and it is fitted with a modern white textured plug-style stopper featuring a metal ring pull. Height approx. 74 cm (29 inches). Condition: The item is in overall good condition. There are visible surface scratches and minor abrasions to the exterior glass consistent with age and previous use. Some internal residue is present. The vessel is free of significant chips, cracks, or visible repairs.
