This utility storage bin is of American Primitive design, constructed from softwood with simple nailed joinery. The bin features rectangular, slightly tapered sides and is reinforced with wooden molding around the base. A wooden block handle is nailed to each of the two ends. The lift-off lid is constructed with a raised rim around the top perimeter. The exterior shows a dark, aged finish on the base and a contrasting lighter patina on the lid. The interior floor contains two small circular holes. Dimensions: Length approx. 25.5 in x Width approx. 16.5 in x Height approx. 12.5 in (measured against a ruler). Condition: Fair to good antique condition. The surface exhibits heavy wear throughout, including deep scratches, abrasions, and minor wood losses. There is a visible difference in finish between the lid and the base. The interior shows dark staining and residue.
