A three-piece ceramic tureen set modeled in the form of a nesting swan, consisting of a base, a fitted lid, and a matching ladle. The lid represents the upper body and wings of the bird, with an arched neck serving as a handle. The oval-shaped base features molded ridges and hand-painted green foliate sprigs along the rim. The set is finished in a high-gloss white glaze with hand-painted details, including yellow bills with black accents and black eyes. The wing tips on the lid are accented with blue brushwork. The included ceramic ladle features a handle that terminates in a small swan head matching the design of the tureen. The underside of the base displays an impressed rectangular mark and faint remnants of a manufacturer stamp, though the characters are not legible. Height: approx. 10 inches (measured against a ruler) Length: approx. 11.5 inches (measured against a ruler). Condition: The set is in fair condition. There is fine, all-over crazing throughout the glaze on all pieces. A small chip is visible on the rim of the base at the ladle notch. Localized yellowish staining is present in the bowl of the ladle and on the underside of the base.
