Eight-Pager Comic Booklet Ephemera. This scarce vintage 1930s "Tijuana Bible" (eight-pager) features a satirical adult parody starring the classic Thimble Theatre / Popeye comic strip character Olive Oyl, titled "OLIVE OYL DECIDES TO GIVE VARIETY A WHIRL!". Printed on bright red cover stock, these clandestine Depression-era underground booklets lampooned mainstream newspaper comic strip icons, pop-culture figures, and Hollywood celebrities, rendering them highly collectible historical artifacts of early American underground comics, censorship, and vintage counterculture ephemera. Publisher anonymous/unattributed (underground printing), estimated c. 1930s, black line artwork printed on red paper cover with pulp newsprint interior pages and a single left side-wire staple binding, captioned with title and Olive Oyl portrait on the front cover, measures standard pocket size approximately 2.5 x 4 inches. Displays expected signs of age including faint surface scuffing, minor edge wear, light corner softening, subtle paper toning to internal newsprint, and minor staple oxidation, though the bold red cover remains vivid and the graphic artwork and typography are clean, crisp, and fully legible; no major tears, missing pages, or severe staining observed. See photos for close-up details.
