Railroad Silverton Cripple Creek 4x7. This original late 19th-century Western Americana photographic print captures a striking panoramic view along a mountain railway line, titled in the negative "5846. THE RANGE WEST FROM THE YANKEE GIRL MINES." depicting the rugged Red Mountain Pass area near Silverton and Ouray in the San Juan Mining District of Colorado. Attributed to early regional photographers such as Webster & Yelton or William Henry Jackson's studio series, this fine albumen print displays a dramatic alpine vista featuring narrow-gauge railroad tracks running through timbered slopes against snow-dusted peaks, making it an exceptional acquisition for collectors of Colorado mining history, early railroad memorabilia, and 19th-century Western landscape photography. Photographer attributed/unbranded, c. 1880s–1890s, original silver gelatin or albumen print on paper, titled and numbered in the lower negative margin, measures approximately 4 x 7 inches. Displays expected signs of age including light surface waviness, subtle curling to the upper margin, faint edge wear, and minor handling marks along the border; no major tears, heavy creasing, or severe silvering observed. See photos for close-up details.
