Comic Postcard Fort Knox Postmark. This original 1930s Depression-era postcard captures a unique intersection of American military history and baseball culture, titled "Life in the C.C.C. – Bingles and Homers." Illustrated with a multi-panel comic highlighting the humorous perils of playing baseball in Civilian Conservation Corps camps—featuring hand-made bats, skunk mascots, tree-stump bases, and kitchen-bound foul balls—this card carries strong crossover appeal for baseball, military, and New Deal ephemera collectors. Postmarked from Fort Knox, Kentucky on April 19, 1935, with a 1-cent George Washington stamp and a handwritten pencil message on the reverse. Publisher unknown, c. 1935, printed cardstock, postmarked and stamped, measures standard postcard size approximately 3.5 x 5.5 inches. Condition is Fair to Good; displays visible age-toning, edge and corner creasing, surface wear, light scuffing, and minor corner rounding, though the comic panels, text, and postmark remain clearly legible; no severe tears or missing pieces observed. See photos for close-up details.
