Antique PINE QUILT RACK ~ TOWEL LINEN HANGER STAND

Updated September 24, 2026

NO SHIPPING ~ LOCAL PICKUP ONLY QUILTS SHOWN ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH THIS LOT > The quilts pictured are offered separately as Lots 130 and 131 in this auction. Standing 41" tall, measuring 22" wide x 7" deep, this freestanding quilt and blanket rack appears to be constructed of pine with a dark stained finish. The tall side uprights rise from extended feet, creating a stable base, while multiple narrow horizontal rungs provide several levels for draping and displaying folded textiles. The rack has a simple country and traditional form, with the dark finish giving the pine a warmer, more substantial appearance. The closely spaced rungs allow quilts, throws, coverlets or blankets to be layered vertically without requiring much floor space, making the piece practical for bedroom, hallway, sewing room or retail-style textile display. Often used for a towel rack in a bathroom or kitchen linen, as a display for handkerchiefs of doilies. The accompanying photograph shows the rack in use with two quilts for scale and presentation. CONDITION REPORT > Dusty, some scratches and blemishes to the feet ~ Otherwise, perhaps typical and minor elements relative to age, use and materials.
