AVAILABLE FOR SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > Mixed group of vintage preschool construction toys featuring a LEGO DUPLO No. 1684 Large Bucket together with a separate assortment of Mottik interlocking building pieces and the original Mottik instruction booklet. The yellow DUPLO storage bucket retains the original LEGO DUPLO 1684 labels and molded four-stud lid. LEGO reference catalogs date Set 1684 to 1990 and identify it as a large preschool bucket containing farm-themed DUPLO pieces, including livestock, fencing, vehicle bases, a windmill propeller, doors, windows and standard building blocks. The present bucket contains a mixed assortment of large-format DUPLO pieces rather than a verified complete original set. Also included is a separate bag of smaller Mottik construction pieces with the original Mottik ~ The Excitement Is Building booklet. Mottik was a British-designed construction system introduced into the North American market in 1994, using square and triangular building elements joined by proprietary sliding connectors called Starloks. Contemporary promotional material described the system as capable of producing both flat patterns and sturdy three-dimensional models. A substantial mixed vintage building-toy group combining an identifiable 1990 LEGO DUPLO storage set with a much less commonly encountered 1990s Mottik construction system. CONDITION REPORT > Perhaps typical and minor elements relative to age, play and materials.
