AVAILABLE FOR SHIPPING or LOCAL PICKUP > A coordinated 8-piece porcelain snack or luncheon set consisting of 4 cups and 4 matching plates, decorated throughout with sprays of purple violets, green leaves and delicate floral accents. 1 > Four large snack plates measuring 8" in diameter, formed in a distinctive seashell inspired profile with gently ruffled, scalloped edges. Each plate incorporates a circular recessed area designed to receive the footed base of the accompanying cup, allowing beverage and food service together on a single plate. 2 > Four matching footed cups with softly shaped handles and floral decoration corresponding to the plates. Fine gold gilt pinstriping accents the cup rims, handles, footed bases and scalloped plate edges. The combination of integrated cup recesses and broad serving area identifies the form as a traditional snack or luncheon set, popular for afternoon refreshments, bridge parties, showers and informal entertaining. No maker or factory marks are present to the undersides. CONDITION REPORT > As discovered, not cleaned or altered. Exhibits light evidence of prior use and storage, including expected wear to portions of the gold gilt decoration.
