Three hammers from the Ferguson shop. The first is a Stanley curved claw carpenter hammer with a tubular steel handle and a black rubber grip, the Stanley name stamped on the cheek of the head. The second is a curved claw hammer with a blue painted steel handle and a brown rubber grip. The third is a small upholstery tack hammer with a turned wooden handle and a head stamped 6 OZ, marked as made in China. Heads on the two claw hammers carry moderate to heavy surface rust across the face, the cheeks and the claws, and the faces show the peening and mushrooming you expect from long use. The rubber grips are hardened and cracked at the ends but are still tight on the handles. The tack hammer is cleaner with light rust and a sound handle. A tack hammer is the tool for driving small brads and upholstery tacks where a full size hammer would split the work. Nothing here is broken or loose. Condition is fair. Authenticity and function have not been verified by Crawford Auction Service. Estimated Value: $15 to $25 based on comparable recent sales. Sold as-is.
