Lee Safety Powder Scale for Reloading

A Lee Safety Powder Scale on the red molded base with the black beam and the aluminum powder pan. The beam is marked with the main grain graduations and carries the sliding tenth grain adjustment, and the pointer settles against the index at the right side of the base. The scale uses Lee's damped beam and self aligning agate bearing design and is rated to one hundred ten grains, which covers every handgun charge and all but the largest rifle charges. Every handloader needs a scale to confirm that the powder measure is throwing what it is supposed to throw, and a beam scale answers that question without batteries. This example is clean, the red plastic is bright, the beam and pan are free of corrosion and the graduations are sharp. No instructions or box are included. The scale was not calibrated or tested by Crawford Auction Service. Condition is excellent. Authenticity and function have not been verified by Crawford Auction Service.
