Trained at Georgian College and the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, he works across painting, drawing, and printmaking. His work is known for its quiet, atmospheric quality, often depicting still life, interiors, figures, and landscapes rendered in subtle tonal palettes. Healey has exhibited widely across Canada, with work held in private and public collections nationally and internationally.
