Naturalistic Grape-Vine Motif, Garnets, Green Enamel and Pearls.

6.5*4.36cm Wt:22.22g

Victorian naturalistic 750-standard (18-karat) gold drop-brooch. Centred with a large cabochon garnet. Vibrant green enamel forms grape-leaves; clusters of natural pearls represent grape bunches set upon scrolling gold-vinework. Three cabochon pear-shape garnets hang as articulated swinging pendants. Grape-vine iconography was a favoured naturalistic motif in Victorian jewellery, symbolising abundance and vitality. Enamel leaves retain strong colour; garnets and pearls are firmly set, pendant links articulate freely, all components complete, overall in good preserved condition.

ALL PROPERTY IS SOLD AS IS, WHERE IS, WITH NO RETURNS OR CANCELLATIONS.

Additional photographs and condition reports may be provided upon request as a courtesy only.
