Bezel-Set Ancient Silver Coin Pendant of Alexander the Great. Chain Length:19.5cm 2.45*3.6cm Wt:65.29g 18-karat-gold necklace of substantial cuban-link design. The pendant features an ancient silver coin of Alexander the Great securely bezel-set within a plain circular 18-karat-gold mount. Obverse shows Alexander wearing the Herakles lion-skin headdress. The coin preserves its original antique patina, with sharply defined, well-layered relief details, secured in a plain circular gold bezel and accompanied by a substantial cuban-link gold chain. Coins of Alexander the Great rank among the most highly-regarded categories of antique-coin jewellery. The striking gold-silver two-tone contrast offers both collectible and wearable appeal.
