French 1st Empire M1788 Infantry Officer Sword. Single edged blade with fuller. No visible maker marks. Double engraved with floral and patriotic patterns. Leather buffer pad. Brass hilt and pommel with D guard. Twisted wire wrapped handle. No scabbard. Blade Length: 32" Total Length: 38 1/2" Condition: Very good. Light dark spots and finish loss.
