This vintage headpiece is a trapper or aviator-style hood crafted from natural long-hair fur, featuring the characteristic variegated coloring of raccoon fur with tan underfur and dark brown to black-tipped guard hairs. The piece is designed with elongated earflaps and a rounded crown. The interior is fully lined with a dark brown quilted fabric with a satin-like finish. Two silver-tone metal snap-stud fasteners are attached to the inner side of the earflaps to facilitate closure or securing of the flaps. NO SHIPPING OUTSIDE OF CANADA Total length measured from crown to earflap tip approx. 14 inches. Condition: The item is in good vintage condition. The fur remains plush and well-retained across the exterior. The interior quilted lining shows minor signs of previous use, including light creasing and small areas of fraying around the metal fastener attachment points.
