A collection of mid-to-late 20th-century costume jewellery comprising several brooches and a matching bracelet and earring set. The group includes a bi-colour novelty brooch depicting a gold-tone curling stone within silver-tone concentric rings, a gold-tone parasol brooch with a bow-tied handle and multi-coloured glitter-flecked canopy, a silver-tone snowflake or starburst brooch set with clear circular and marquise-cut glass rhinestones, and a gold-tone ribbon bow brooch with a suspended starburst pendant, set with two faceted light-blue glass stones. The demi-parure consists of a polished gold-tone linked bracelet and matching clip-on earrings featuring a ribbed leaf or shell design. The bracelet is fitted with a fold-over clasp. These pieces are unsigned and are in the style of popular mid-century costume jewellery manufacturers. Curling stone brooch: Width approx. 3 cm Parasol brooch: Height approx. 3.5 cm Starburst brooch: Width approx. 2.8 cm Bow brooch: Length approx. 4.5 cm Earrings: Length approx. 2.5 cm Bracelet: Length approx. 17.5 cm All measurements are approximate and read from a visible scale. Condition: The curling stone brooch shows visible rubbing and loss to the gold-tone finish. The gold-tone bow and starburst brooch exhibits minor surface wear to the plating. The remaining items, including the rhinestone brooch, parasol brooch, and the leaf-motif set, are in good vintage condition with all stones present and a bright finish to the metal.
