Set of seven fully upholstered dining or occasional chairs, each with a gently arched rectangular back, generously padded seat, and tailored skirt concealing the frame and legs. The group is upholstered throughout in a traditional oversized plaid fabric worked in muted rose, dusty green, taupe, cream, and navy tones, giving the chairs a warm English country or traditional decorator aesthetic. Decorative contrasting checked trim and bow-like fabric tabs are applied vertically to the backs of several chairs, adding a charming custom-upholstery detail and suggesting these were likely decorator-made or professionally upholstered rather than mass-produced in their present form. Shows visible signs of household use, including scattered spotting and light staining, surface soiling, small marks, minor fading and wear to the plaid fabric, and some wrinkles and distortion to the skirts and seat upholstery; no maker’s label or attribution is visible in the supplied photographs.
