(2) Attractive vintage high-back upholstered armchairs, each designed with tall gently arched backs, broad cushioned seats, upholstered arms, and dark-stained hardwood legs, offering complementary traditional forms despite differing fabrics. One chair is by Hickory Chair Company, Hickory, North Carolina, retaining the manufacturer’s label for “Fine Furniture Since 1911,” and is upholstered in a salmon-pink and cream stylized foliate damask with padded armrests, open mahogany-finished wood arms, and brass-tone nailhead trim. The second chair is upholstered in coral-pink fabric with a repeating cream trellis pattern and features narrow upholstered wings, softly flared arms, and reeded front legs. Both show vintage estate wear including scattered scuffs, scratches, and finish wear to the exposed wood. The Hickory Chair example additionally has minor upholstery pulls and visible fraying/separation along one upholstered arm edge, while the coral trellis chair shows scattered staining and discoloration, small pulls, abrasion, and general upholstery wear. Measures 40"H x 22"W x 20"D and seat height is 18"H & Measures 37"H x 27"W x 22.5"D and seat height is 18"H.
