Pair of tall modernist floor lamps by New Society, each executed in polished brass with a strong architectural form featuring a slender rectangular standard, stepped collar details, broad angular pedestal base, and dramatic flared reflector-style top. Both lamps are marked “New Society” beneath the upper shade. Both lamps retain their electrical cords and require a specialty bulb. The pair shows scattered scuffs, scratches, spotting, oxidation, and general surface wear to the brass consistent with age and use. One lamp is currently working; the second is unverified, as the existing bulb appears to be blown and may require replacement before proper testing. Measures 68.75" H x 13" W x 8" D & 68.5" H x 12.75" W x 8" D.
