Large Turkish wool area rug featuring a bold Heriz-inspired geometric medallion design in ivory, blue, burgundy, rose, and muted tan tones. The field is centered by a large angular medallion with stylized floral and foliate motifs, framed by multiple patterned borders. The reverse retains an Istanbul label noting No. 44328, Origin: Turkey, Type: Wool, and size approximately 335 x 265 cm (10ft 12in x 8ft 8 in)Finished with fringed ends. The rug shows age and use with scattered staining and discoloration, surface wear, soiling, and notable wear and fraying to the fringe. Needs to be cleaned.
