Elegant Hepplewhite style side chair featuring a dark mahogany-finished hardwood frame with a shaped crest rail and three slender pierced vertical splats terminating in stylized carved details. The chair is raised on straight tapered legs and fitted with a generously padded upholstered seat in muted rose fabric. The restrained neoclassical form and delicate openwork back give the chair a refined late-18th-century-inspired appearance. Upholstery shows light staining, spotting, and general use wear, while the wood frame has scattered scuffs, scratches, and finish wear consistent with age and use. Measures 38"H x 20"W x 16" with seat height of 20" tall.
