An appealing assembled group of five early porcelain pieces spanning Asian, English, French, and American commemorative wares, each displaying distinctive period decoration and considerable antique character. The lot includes a Chinese export porcelain plate decorated in the famille rose palette with scattered flowering sprays, foliage, small insects or butterflies, and a pale turquoise geometric border, likely dating to the 18th or early 19th century; an early English transfer-decorated porcelain plate centered by two figures beneath rays of light and surrounded by a molded lettered border, with the printed verse beginning “Keep Heaven in your eye and Eatch under your feet”; an ornate white porcelain souvenir plate with molded rocaille borders, gilt highlights, and blue architectural vignettes labeled “Old Slave Market,” “Old Cathedral,” “Old Watch Tower,” “City Gates,” and “Fort Marion,” the reverse bearing the red C. Ahrenfeldt, Limoges, France mark; an 1895 Atlanta Exposition porcelain souvenir cup decorated with a seated lady and gentleman taking tea and lettered “Atlanta Exposition 1895,” finished with a gilt rim; and an early molded blue-and-white floral porcelain sauce or gravy boat with a scalloped rim, paneled body, elongated pouring lip, and scrolling handle. The group displays age-appropriate wear throughout, including surface scuffs and scratches, staining and discoloration, rubbing and losses to gilt and painted decoration, crazing, firing imperfections, rim and edge chips, hairlines and cracks, and other small losses, with the blue-and-white sauce boat showing particularly evident rim losses and cracking. Offered together as an eclectic decorative and historical group of early porcelain. Plates measure 5" Diameter, 6.5" Diameter & 8.5" Diameter. Teacup measures 2.5" Tall. Gravyboat measures 4" H x 6" W x 3.75" D.
