Striking 1930s Art Deco Anchor Hocking “Manhattan” frosted glass fruit bowl featuring the pattern’s distinctive concentric horizontal ribbing, a broad circular form, and a pair of integrated scrolling glass handles. The bowl is further embellished with an ornate brass-toned ormolu-style mounting system, including a pierced openwork band encircling the foot and decorative filigree straps rising along the exterior, giving the piece a particularly elegant architectural quality. The underside retains the characteristic circular molded design and geometric detailing around the foot. The glass shows scattered scuffs, scratches, and surface wear from age and use, with several small nicks and flea bites along the upper rim. The brass mounts display expected oxidation, darkened patina, and wear consistent with age, while remaining visually decorative and largely intact. Measures 4.75" W x 12" W x 9.25" D.
