An eclectic and visually appealing collection of antique and vintage silverplate and metal table accessories, highlighted by a Tiffany & Co. hinged box engraved “Frances Clark” across the lid and bearing Tiffany & Co. maker’s marks to the interior. Also included is a Christofle silverplate frog-form olive or hors d’oeuvre pick holder fitted with a molded glass insert and an assortment of twisted picks topped with colorful polished stones; a Derby Silver Co. quadruple-plate creamer and matching handled sugar bowl with bold repoussé floral and foliate decoration; a decorative hinged silverplate box retaining a collection of vintage opera and theater tickets; and an engraved presentation trophy raised above crossed supports with a laurel wreath on a circular base. The varied forms, decorative surfaces, old inscriptions, and retained ephemera give the group considerable character and collector appeal. Pieces show scuffs, scratches, tarnish, oxidation, rubbing, plating wear, and surface discoloration consistent with age and use, with heavier mottled tarnishing visible to the presentation trophy.
