Eclectic group of six antique and vintage decorative objects comprising three carved figural pieces, an oval painted plaque, a carved giltwood portrait medallion, and a sculpted cement face plaque. The group includes a weathered gray-toned Buddha or bodhisattva-style head rendered frontally within a deeply carved flame- or leaf-form surround; a warm brown carved bust depicting a male figure in period dress with pronounced facial features; and a dark-finished wood rectangular wall plaque mounted with a raised classical bearded male bust and fitted with a brass hanging tab. Also included is an oval painted wood plaque depicting two classically draped female figures seated together in a romantic garden setting, a giltwood oval portrait medallion featuring a female profile within a beaded border and carved ribbon-and-foliate surround, and a larger sculpted cement female or cherub-like face with curled hair and headband detailing. The varied materials, subjects, and carving techniques give the group considerable decorative character as an assembled collection. All pieces show age-related wear including scuffs, scratches, rubbing, surface grime, finish loss and scattered small imperfections; the giltwood medallion has areas of gilt loss and wear, while the cement face displays several chips and losses, particularly around the facial and hair details.
