Group of four early decorated ceramic tiles comprising two blue transfer-printed examples by Josiah Wedgwood & Sons, Etruria, each marked on the reverse and decorated with detailed figural scenes within ornate circular borders and period inscriptions; a pictorial tile depicting The New Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, with a 1909 calendar advertising Jones, McDuffee & Stratton Co., Pottery Merchants, Boston, U.S.A. printed on the reverse; and a polychrome crackle-glazed tile depicting two figures in a landscape with architectural and garden elements. The Wedgwood tiles display finely rendered monochrome transfer decoration, while the Boston museum tile combines early architectural advertising imagery with a period calendar reverse. All four exhibit age-related scuffs, scratches, crazing, staining, surface wear, and scattered small edge and corner nicks consistent with age and handling. Measures 4.75" x 3.5", 5.25" x 5.25", 6" x 6" & 6" x 6".
