Primitive Old Window Shutter Mirror

Rustic primitive wall mirror made from an old wooden window or shutter frame, retaining the original hinged wood shutters and old iron strap hinges. The center opening has been fitted with mirror glass, creating a strong farmhouse and architectural salvage look. The wood shows extensive age and character throughout, including worn surfaces, remnants of old paint, weathering, splits, nail holes, oxidation to the hardware, and an overall naturally distressed patina. The shutters open to reveal the mirror and close across the front. Measures approximately 32 inches wide x 19 inches high x 2 inches deep. Exact age and original architectural use are unknown, but the frame and hardware appear to be older reclaimed material. The mirror glass may be a later addition. Excellent primitive, farmhouse, cabin, or architectural salvage decor piece. Condition shows substantial wear appropriate for age and use, including weathering, old paint loss, surface wear, splits, oxidation, and irregularities to the wood and hardware.
