Vintage heavy brass paper-seal padlock manufactured by Slaymaker Lock Company of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Marked "SLAYMAKER LANC. PA.," "2AK, and "1952.This tamper-evident lock design accommodated a paper seal that would show if the lock had been opened. Includes two keys, and the lock has been tested and works. Measures approximately 3 3/4 inches high × 2 1/2 inches wide. Displays an attractive aged patina with scratches, discoloration, and wear appropriate for its 1952 date.
