Large bronze sculpture after Frederic Remington’s celebrated 1903 work "The Mountain Man." Depicts a rugged frontiersman guiding his horse down a steep mountainside, capturing the dramatic movement and danger of the American West. Finished with a dark patina and mounted on a polished black marble base bearing a brass title plaque. Measures approximately 26 inches tall, 15.5 inches wide and 10.5 inches deep. This is a later decorative casting, likely dating from the late 20th to early 21st century, and is not represented as an original lifetime Remington bronze. No foundry mark or limited-edition number was observed in the provided photographs. Displays minor surface wear and scuffing consistent with age and display. Heavy piece. Please examine all photographs closely for complete condition. If you have any doubt, please attend the preview and examine all photographs closely before bidding. Estimated Auction Value: $600-$800
