Description: Pair of miniature novelty animal figures, a monkey and a lion, each formed from mohair or plush fiber over a wire armature, with hand-stitched felt facial details and glass or bead eyes. Each figure is mounted on its original small green felt display base with a printed "Made in China" paper label. These small-scale figures were typically produced as part of miniature circus, zoo, or menagerie sets, popular mid-20th-century novelty collectibles. Measures H: 1.5", W: 2", L: 1.75" each. Condition Report: Good vintage condition, wear commensurate with age. Fur/mohair shows some flattening and thinning consistent with age and handling. No visible losses to the felt bases or paper labels. Wire armatures appear intact, allowing the figures to hold their poses.
