Vintage 1905 Illinois Watch Co. Sangamo model 4 mechanical open-face pocket watch featuring a 16-size base metal utility case. The interior caseback displays a polished finish stamped with the signature "KEYSTONE BASE METAL" crown trademark scales crest over production case serial number 822101 and hand-etched watchmaker tracking marks. The outer caseback showcases a vertically pinstriped pattern adorned with an asymmetrical floral vine framing an unengraved oval monogram cartouche panel, paired with a repeating geometric block pattern border along the sidewall bezel frame. The white porcelain enamel railroad dial features double-sunk construction, an outer track ring, bold black Arabic numeral hour tracks, red marginal five-minute intervals from 5 to 60, heavy blued steel spade main hands, an independent sub-seconds register above the 6 o'clock position, and a Gothic-signed upper brand signature reading "Illinois Watch Co."
