ENTWINED LOTUS PATTERN BOWL. <br>Height:10cm (3.94in) , Diameter:17.5cm (6.89in) Wide flared mouth, curved wall and ring foot, elegant and well?proportioned. Gilded rim; interior entirely covered in turquoise?green glaze. Exterior set upon a sapphire?blue ground, richly painted in famille?rose palette with dragons winding through scrolling lotus blossoms. The dragons are rendered in pinkish?enamel with dotted?ink scales in dynamic poses. Lotus scrolls are vividly coloured in pink, red, green and yellow with meticulous fine painting. The base is covered with turquoise?green glaze, bearing iron?red seal?script six?character mark ??Da?Qing Dao?Guang Nian?Zhi??. Blue?ground famille?rose represents precious imperial?kiln porcelain of the Daoguang reign.
