PATTERNED GOURD-SHAPED JAR. <br>Height:11cm (4.33in) , Diameter:11cm (4.33in) Melon?ribbed form with stout rounded body and small circular aperture at top. The main body is covered in wood?imitative glaze simulating natural wood grain, further adorned with ink?painted cloud scrolls. The rim and foot are decorated with iron?red ground gilded ruyi?cloud borders, with fine gilt scrollwork and auspicious character ??Xiang?? on top. Base is iron?red glaze supported by six nipple?form feet, bearing gilt seal?script mark ??Yong?Zheng Nian Zhi??. Imitative?effect glaze is a distinctive technique of Qing imperial kilns.
